Dr. Martin grew up in Countryside, IL and attended Lyons Township High School. He completed undergraduate studies at SIU in Carbondale and graduated Dental School at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
Following dental school, Dr. Martin served in the United States Navy in Okinawa during the first Desert Storm. Years later he jumped at the chance to serve his country again and joined the Reserves where he was head of the dental units of the 434th Air Refueling Wing, Grissom, Indiana and the 183rd Fighter Wing, Springfield, Illinois. He holds dental licenses in Illinois, Colorado and Wisconsin.
